I know, I know…it’s too early for all of this. It was three degrees here last night. Even the dogs stopped barking. There will be a warm up before the real cold gets here but every year we get a dress rehearsal and start looking in the closet for a jacket or sweater and the shorts sit forlorn and hopeful on a chair in the corner…It’s always a feeling of apprehension for me. I do love the fall colours and the smell of the leaves…There are clear, crisp, days when you can see the other side of everything. Most of all…this is the time when that cautionary thought slips into your mind…
